Writing Progress from October 2016
I wrote three blog posts for garydavidgillen.com including my writing progress report for October 2016 linked below.
I retitled A Simple Request. It is now known as White Bracer.
I retitled the new story that I was going to call Time Bomb. It is now known as Mage Squad.
Completed the story sheets for Mage Squad.
I wrote all four scenes for Mage Squad. It has about 3400 words, longer than I had planned.
Worked on the story sheets for Dogman, I had planned on completing them.
Events from October 2016
I attended Capclave from 10-7 to 10-9, and I will write a separate post on it.
I went live on my website called garydavidgillen.com, I’m happy about that. It’s a big signpost on my journey to create my writer’s platform.
Goals for November 2016
Complete the story sheets for Dogman.
Write all four scenes for Dogman.
Complete a rewrite of Kay-Eye.
Complete second revisions of Mage Squad and Dogman.

Start Facebook and Twitter pages.
Research photographers for website photo.
Attend the Indy Author Conference on 11-12 at the Parma, Ohio Library
