Four Events attended in 2022

I attended ConFusion Detroit in January 2022. ConFusion Detroit 2020 was the last in-person con I attended. I have attended only virtual cons in the last two years. ConFusion 2022 was my next in-person con.

I attended ConFusion in Novi, Michigan, from January 21, 2022, to January 23, 2022. The Ann Arbor Science Fiction Association Sponsors ConFusion.

I attended the Western Reserve Writers Conference at the South Euclid-Lyndhurst branch of the Cuyahoga County Public Library in Lyndhurst, Ohio on March 26, 2022.

I attended the Ice and Fire Con at Mt. Sterling, Ohio, from April 21 to April 24, 2022. I originally had a ticket for the Ice and Fire Con 2020, but they canceled it because of COVID-19.

I attended the Marcon conference near Columbus, Ohio, on May 7, 2022. They held the conference at the Crown Plaza North Hotel in Worthington, Ohio.

One Event attended in 2021

The Cleveland Inkubator Writing Conference 2021 was a virtual event using Zoom from July 11, 2021, to July 25, 2021. Over the two weeks, they presented forty-two workshops, panels, and special events. I attended two panels, one craft talk, and one workshop (which was held over two days).

Literary Cleveland sponsors the event. Literary Cleveland’s mission is to create and nurture a vibrant literary arts community in Northeast Ohio. The group sponsors writing workshops, author interviews, and a monthly group meeting mixer.

Many cons I planned to attend were canceled in 2020 including ConCoction Cleveland 2020, Western Reserve Writers Conference Cleveland 2020, Ice and Fire Con 2020, Marcon Columbus 2020, Confluence Pittsburgh 2020, Inkubator Cleveland 2020, and NASFiC Columbus 2020.

Four Events in 2020

I attended the ConFusion Conference in Novi, Michigan from January 16 to 19, 2020. The Ann Arbor Science Fiction Association Sponsors ConFusion.

I attended virtual Dragon Con Atlanta from September 3 to 7, 2020, and attended eight events. This conference is a great opportunity for me because Atlanta is far away, and I am not likely to attend this con in person.

Attended Events 2020 Continued

They held a virtual conference called C’monfluence the Novelization 2020, from October 2 to October 4. The Guest of Honor was Martha Wells. I attended the conference virtually. They canceled Confluence Conference Pittsburgh because of COVID-19. I plan to go to the next Confluence from July 23 to July 25, 2021.
