Introduction
Black Sun Rising by C S Freidman is a science fiction fantasy novel about four people going on a quest to defeat the forces of the Fae that want to destroy humanity. The story begins when the warrior priest Damien Vryce enters a Fae Shop looking for answers about the Fae. He meets the sorceress adept Ciani of Faraday at the shop. They go on a quest and Ciani’s apprentice Senzei and the undead sorcerer Gerald Tarrant join them. Their quest leads them deep into the Fae lands and they have secrets revealed. Will Damien defeat the Fae and get answers to the questions that he has asked about them?
